Sub:- Message on the occasion of Foundation Day.
Dear member of PTCUL family,
It gives me great pleasure to inform you that all eligible employees shall be
awarded performance incentive for the year 2006-07 in terms of the Office
Memorandum enclosed herewith. This performance incentive for the year 2006-07 is
in recognition of your contribution and more importantly your potential to help
transform PTCUL into a leading Transmission utility. I have always held the
strong belief that the fruits of our success ought to be shared with members of
the PTCUL family. The performance incentive is a step in this direction. Our
Company is poised for a strong growth trajectory.
I believe that our employees are the greatest
asset. As our Company charts out an aggressive and determined course of action
to grow rapidly, your contribution and achievement will be a key ingredient for
the success and growth of the Company. In addition to achieving excellence in
O&M and Projects, this will mean induction of best-in-class systems and
processes, performance standards which are benchmarked with the best in the
country and the world as well. You will be glad to know that the
existing/proposed Integrated Transmission System of PTCUL has been adjudged as a
unique model by the Ministry of Power, which can be replicated elsewhere in the
country. Hence it is a great challenge and a wonderful opportunity for us to
adopt the best practices and ensure faster project execution to help transform
PTCUL into the Best STU in the next couple of years. We are also exploring the
possibility of introducing HR initiatives like for the “Best Team/ Sub-Station
in 132 and 220 KV category”, “Best Employee of the year” to inculcate a strong
sense of achievement and high performance in order to build a new and vibrant
work culture.
We are also embarking to implement End-to-End
IT Solution to integrate the business process. Your inputs/suggestions in this
regard will be welcome. Besides a ‘Suggestions Scheme’ will be introduced in
near future to unleash the creative potential & innovation within employees to
bring in new ideas & strengthen participatory management. I am confident that
you will continue to demonstrate superior performance and make significant
contributions to achieve faster growth and milestones. I wish you and your team
